Paul Muir joins the band as front man; Jonny Bescoby is the percussionist with Paul Turley on electric guitar. The Albany sound is 50% British Indy and 50% West Coast rock, quite 80's in places, but with a vintage heartfelt sensitivity and contemporary aggressive energy. Influences include Led Zeppelin, Guns N Roses, The Who and The Rolling Stones.

Why Vocals? I have been a performing singer/songwriter since the age 18 with masses of Gigging experience. I also play guitar. My main vocal influences are Richard Marx and Steven Tyler, whose songwriting is a hybrid of classic and contemporary rock. I love performing live; the bigger the crowd, the better! |

Why the guitar? I played several different instruments when I was younger, but never felt fully comfortable until I took up the guitar at the age of 14. I try to keep a strong sense of melody in my playing and am greatly influenced by blues music. |

Why Drums? One of the earliest memories I have is of stealing my mum's chopsticks and breaking them on pots and pans in the house. As soon as I went to school I started learning to play the drums. when I was 16 I started getting into dance music started DJing and making music on my PC. Then in the last year have started to pick up the sticks again. My main influence is Travis barker who's hardstyle has put some excitement back into drumming. I listen to lots of different styles of music and enjoy drumming to Hip hop Drum' n bass, rock and blues. |

Why the bass guitar? Coming from a very musically inclined family I naturally gravitated to the bass guitar as its just such a great instrument. I love playing the low end sound on songs and creating solid bass lines. When I first learnt to play I tried to emulate my favourite players like John Paul Jones and Flea and I hope that's reflected in my own playing. |
